| Subscription Edition CD packaged with the Teacher Edition includes: |
- Class notes in color PowerPoint and PDF files to generate transparencies
- All assessments in customizable text files
- Student Activity Book with a subscription license to print the number of copies you designate for your students. Student Activity Books have an average page count of 200-300 pages (specific counts are listed on the website course pages). Subscription license expires after one (1) calendar year from purchase date and is renewable as follows:

| CD Password Procedure: |
| When you receive your materials you will need to request the CD password by email. This is 1) for your protection; 2) helps us verify that the educator asking for the password is the one who ordered the material; 3) verifies that you have received the material in good condition; 4) that, if you have purchased a subscription edition that you agree to the license renewal requirement (not necessary in the case of the classroom set); 5) enroll you for mentoring teacher access that comes with your purchase; and 6) that we have a reliable email address at which we can notify you of updates and enrichments. |

(1) The advantage to purchasing the annually renewable subscription editions over classroom sets (described on another page under order options tab) is that the subscriptions do not require the purchase of pre-printed student activity books and therefore can be purchased at a lower price. On the flip side, classroom sets deliver all your student books pre-printed and do not require annual renewal. The subscription editions allow printing from the CD of the student materials including the activity book and, like many software and database subscriptions, are as a result annually renewable. When purchasing the subscription edition license you agree to the annual period of use. If you will be using the materials in succeeding school years, you will agree to renew the materials at 2/3 original price each year until you discontinue use. With renewal you will receive a new notebook with CD and renewed mentoring teacher email access. Below are the two renewal schedules:

Obtaining Funding for Purchase
TEACHINGpoint course materials may qualify for funding, beyond departmental budgets, through Title One
(25% of that funding can be used for professional development, for which Teaching Point materials qualify);
local and state
professional development funds; New Teacher funds; School Improvement funds; Comprehensive School Reform funding; local, state or regional educational foundations and the No Child Left Behind Act Title IIa (Improving Teacher quality State Grants). |
