SHIPPING & HANDLING: For all orders the greater of 10% or actual shipping costs will be added. The shopping cart and order form calculates 10% shipping & handling for lower 48 states in U.S., 20% for Hawaii, Alaska, U.S. territories and other countries. However, shipping may be more outside lower 48 of the U.S. depending upon distance, package weight and requests for expedited delivery. If your order requires additional shipping (as in the case the web site shopping cart did not calculate corectly) you will be notified so that you can submit a revised Purchase Order, or approve the additional charges. Although all international orders are delivered by air, all classroom set orders are shipped via ground within the U.S. lower 48, faster delivery requires additional cost.
"CARE PACKAGE": We offer to email (as attachments) a "care package" of files containing the first units of materials to help the teacher while the printed materials are en route to you. If, however, you require faster delivery, please call or email for specific charges based on order size and destination.
RETURN POLICY:
eBook Review Copies: We offer a short term screen view only eBook review copy of our materials to relieve the need for a printed review copy in the mail. to receive an eBook review simply email us at tporder@teaching-point.net. Because we offer a complete eBook review copy in advance of any paid order or school P.O., we do not accept returns of this copyrighted intellectual property instructional support material when delivered in printed or electronic (DVD) form through the mail.
Purchased eBooks: eBooks are not returnable as samples are available before purchase to determine suitability.
MAC Users: Returns will not be accepted for those claiming they did not know that the electronic files portion of materials only open on PC - not MAC as those details are prominently displayed on all order option pages - click for details regarding a "work around solution" for the MAC.
Damaged Notebook Credit: In the unlikely event that a teacher notebook is delivered with a spine in a damaged condition - a three dollar USD credit will be given and is not a reason for return.
Damaged Student Book Replacement: In the case of student books received in damaged condition, please send us photos of the damaged books and box (so we can make an insurance claim) and we will replace them ASAP. As we have a replacement policy, damaged books are not a reason for return.
INSURANCE AND REPLACEMENT POLICY: All orders delivered by Teaching Point are insured. If any materials are received in damaged condition, please take photos of the damaged box(es) and material(s) sufficient for us to claim the insurance and replace the damaged portion of the goods to you. Absent any photos of damaged goods or note from a recognized shipper (US Mail, UPS, Fedex or DHL only), that goods were never delivered, we cannot replace the materials without an additional 80% charge. Additionally, we cannot insure materials not shipped by Teaching Point meaning that if you pick up the materials from our offices, or secure your own courier, you accept the material in good condition and are responsible for any insurance after they leave our offices and are not returnable for any reason.
SUBSCRIPTION RENEWALS: The subscription versions (eBook, DVD only and printed teacher edition subscription) are due for renewal at the end of the term, which is either a school year or a two-year term (for IB titles) from delivery. After the end of the subscription term, due to copyright and intellectual property rights, neither the electronic or printed materials may be used until either a subscription renewal or a minimum 25 printed student books (an upgrade to a class set with pertpetual license where no renewal is necessary) are purchased.
