Preschool is a comprehensive preschool program for three and four year old children. Subject matter is based on proven techniques provided by the experts in early childhood education. Each teacher is given a wealth of easy to understand background information to feel knowledgeable and comfortable in working in a preschool environment. The major component of the program is the Curriculum Cards. These cards provide the teacher with 150 lessons. Each card contains a daily lesson plan about a specific, interesting theme. If the teacher determines to continue the lesson on additional days, she may continue to use many of the materials and add her own creativity by providing some additional activities.
Each of the themes provides developmentally appropriate, entertaining and enriching activities that make children want to learn. The learning center information and lessons are provided. The teacher simply reviews the curriculum card, reads the information, collects the materials and arranges them for the children. The cards take the laborious task of the researching and writing lesson plans from the teachers busy work schedule. Further, it ensures that the proper enrichment activities are given to each child. The theme curriculum cards are easy to use and simple to follow. Teachers may use the cards and follow the lesson while teaching the class. Everything is on the self-contained lesson plan.
