English 11

by Amy McCracken

FULL YEAR COURSE MATERIALS

This course is designed for an 11th-grade English student with a focus on American literature. The text is intended to be used either in conjunction with another American literature text, or as a stand alone. Students will gain an understanding not only of the concepts inherent in American literature -- starting with the Puritans and Native Americans, and ending with Modern literature -- but of the elements of literature as well. This book prepares students for state and national tests, with the author of the course having eight years of experience in teaching the Virginia Standards of Learning. The selections in this course will enhance your English 11 program and help prepare your students to master their state and national exams.
