This richly-illustrated ecology course treats students to a host of labs, demonstrations, riddles, and activities such as “observing and measuring the invisible,” “the best scholar-ship there ever was,” and “the lithospheric deposition of CO 2.” Students will employ in-genious separation technologies, analyze the numeric implications of a billion homework questions, and build their own density stratifications in an aqueous system. Class notes, graphing, word scrambles, reading activities, and worksheets help students meet dozens of national, state, and local science standards.
