This course focuses on the interdisciplinary study of the environment using both the natural and social sciences. Throughout the course, students will realize how all things are interconnected and reliant upon each other and how humans are abusing and/or improving our world. Topics covered include air, water, and soil pollution; economics and politics; resources, energy and alternatives. At the completion of the course students will be able to analyze and explain various aspects of their own community, state, nation, and world environmental issues.
