This course is a comprehensive, honors level physics course. Correlated to state standards, this course is self-contained, with a student notebook that includes all of the homework assignments, as well as the recommended lab procedures. The teacher version of the Student Notebook includes detailed solutions to all homework problems. The evaluation tools included with the course consist of two test versions for every chapter as well as five different quiz versions for virtually every topic covered. A pacing guide ensures completion of all required content. Daily lesson plans offer classroom-tested teaching strategies and daily Class Notes (as overhead masters) in support of effective classroom instruction. The Class Notes include all of the theoretical material, as well as applications and sample problems, which will enable any teacher with a reasonable background in science to immediately begin teaching physics. This course will support the new teacher, an out-of-field assignment or the experienced teacher wishing to add additional materials to the curriculum.
These instructional support materials (available in print or eBook versions), regularly updated, cover the complete course (at regular, honors, AP and IB levels), whether it be semester, year or 2-year (IB) with daily support for all aspects of instruction. The Teacher’s Edition includes a syllabus; correlation to standards; daily pacing guide; detailed daily lesson plans; teacher edition of student activity book or lab manual with answers; class notes in PDF (for use as color overheads) and/or editable PowerPoint's (for use with light projector or smartboard); and complete editable assessments. Classroom sets include 25 printed student books and Teacher Edition with DVD. Samples are available for each course (including complete short-term limited screen view versions in eBook format upon request). After purchase of the Teacher Edition in any of the various editions, student activity books or lab manuals are available for individual purchase.
