Math: Level 4

by Jon Yeyna

Elementary Math Level 4 is a standards based curriculum targeted toward making math universally accessible to all students, to appeal to all ranges of student learning levels, and to give them the tools necessary to succeed in the world of mathematics.  It was written for both new and experienced teachers who are looking to have an “edge” in the classroom and to get higher test score without having to teach to the test.  This easy to use program gives you daily lesson plans, daily PowerPoint slides, daily assignments, and periodic standards based assessments, plus step-by-step instructions that will engage students of all levels and help build a math community in the classroom where math will unite teacher and students in mathematical discourse.  Elementary Math – Level 4 will be used as a means of developing a strong foundation from which researched based strategies and state mandated material are blended with student motivation and acceptance that will help build a solid framework for learning for each student. This course may be best used in conjunction with Level 5 and 6 written in the same spiraling 4-step format.
