1st Grade Art

FULL YEAR COURSE MATERIALS

The student will learn to draw objects in reality using geometric shapes, lines and "cues" for reference.

 
The student will be exposed to numerous 2 dimensional media such as pencils, pens, crayons, craypas, tempoa paint, water color paint, ripped paper, ect.
 
The student will work in both 2 dimensional and 3 dimensional media.
 
By understanding how to analize and draw objects and lean to apply color theory, the student will start to be independant from the instructor.  This curriculum will support and supplement the academic curriculum for first grade students.
